A Chinese team visits Shabwa to explore gold and metallic minerals

The Secretary-General of the Local Council in Shabwa Governorate, Abd Rabbuh Hashla Nasser, met today, Friday, with a technical team from the Chinese company Sino Giant International, in the presence of the Director-General of the Geological Survey Authority branch in the governorate, Dr. Abdel Moneim Habtoor, and the team of engineers at the Geological Survey Authority.
During the meeting, the Chinese technical team briefed the Secretary-General on the team’s work mission in the governorate, which is to explore gold minerals and other metallic minerals in Wadi Al-Awarid, north of the Bir Ali area in Radum District, and the steps and arrangements that will be taken in this direction.
The Secretary-General welcomed the visit of the Chinese company team to the province, pointing out the many investment opportunities and advantages that the province enjoys in many fields.
Hashla noted the many facilities provided by the leadership of the local authority in the governorate and its specialists for various investment activities, stressing that the leadership of the governorate will never hesitate to provide the necessary support and facilities to all investors in a way that contributes to enabling them to carry out their various investment activities without obstacles or problems.
p>For its part, the Sino Gent team expressed their appreciation for the local authority’s interest and provision of the necessary facilities to overcome the difficulties they may face, stressing that they will begin conducting their studies on gold minerals and metallic minerals in the region.
