{O reassured soul, return to your Lord, satisfied and pleasing, so enter among My servants and enter My Paradise}
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
With great sadness and deep sorrow, we received the news of the death of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait.
With this painful affliction that befell the sister State of Kuwait, along with the Arab and Islamic nations, we, on behalf of the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council and the people of the South inside and outside the country, extend our deepest condolences and great sympathy to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and through him to the brotherly people of Kuwait, asking May God bless the late Emir with abundant mercy and forgiveness, and may he rest in peace, and may he grant patience to everyone’s hearts.
The passing of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah at this difficult time does not represent a loss for Kuwait alone, but it represents a great loss for its Arab and Islamic surroundings, which lost, with his passing, a wise leader who pushed his country towards achieving a renaissance and pioneering achievements that strengthened its distinguished position and effective presence in the Arab world and regionally. And internationally.
We must also remember, with great pride, the positions of the State of Kuwait and its late Emir towards our people, and the generous aid and support they provided in various aspects of life, and in various circumstances.
We renew our condolences to the leadership and people of brotherly Kuwait, and we pray to God Almighty to accept the late Emir with wide mercy and forgiveness, and to place him in peace, and to inspire his family, relatives, people, and lovers with all patience and solace.
To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
