Al-Husseini Forum in Lahj concludes its activities for the year 2023 AD with a cultural, poetic and singing evening

Al-Husseini Cultural and Social Forum in Lahj concluded its program activities for the year 2023 AD with a cultural, poetic and singing evening in which a group of artists, poets, writers, social figures and those interested in cultural affairs in the governorate participated.
The event was decorated with the most wonderful Lahija, Sana’ani and Hadrami singing colors, including singing performances presented by the artists Alaa Kurd, Saad Alawi, Faisal Alawi, Alawi Al-Akwa’, Abdel Fattah Al-Dali and Sadiq Al-Ajili. The attendees harmonized with them in happiness and joy, and joy and happiness spread from their faces due to those songs. Of melodious tones and sounds. The poem also had a place that varied between sentimental and enthusiastic in solidarity with the people of Gaza, presented by the poets Shawqi Awad and Awad Khamira.
The presence of researcher and writer Kamal Moneim played an active role in the celebration through his various cultural interventions, which included discussions by those present about the state of the cultural reality in the governorate and how to address the current cultural and creative stagnation. The researcher and participants also provided explanations of the content of some of the songs and what distinguished them and contained them.
At the beginning of the event, the President of the Forum, Brother Awad Ahmed Messimen, and its Secretary-General, Adel Babhar, welcomed all attendees, considering their participation in the Forum as its closing celebration for the year 2023 AD, in support of it and the various cultural and social activities it offers, through which it contributes to restoring the glow of Lahji cultural activity in a significant way. Special, as well as his adoption of artistic talent, including the rising talent, the young skipper Arafat Al-Khawaja, who was honored last Thursday by the local authority in the governorate.
It is worth noting that the Al-Husseini Social Cultural Forum is one of the most prominent active cultural components in the governorate and will celebrate its third anniversary in January next year.
