The Standards Authority and Aden Customs regulate the mechanism for exporting and retrieving gold

The leadership of the General Authority for Standardization and Metrology met, today, Sunday, at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, with customs officials at Aden International Airport, to discuss the mechanism for regulating exports of gold and precious metals as they are considered national capital.
The two parties discussed ways of coordination and cooperation, in light of the export of 938 kilograms of gold last year, for the purpose of processing it and returning it within three months to the country, in accordance with the text of the law.
They agreed to establish a mechanism that ensures the organization of the process of exports and the return of artifacts after their export, and to study the establishment of the necessary guarantees, the time period specified for the return of the artifacts within it, and the quantity allowed to be exported in kilograms of jewelry and precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum, jewelry, and precious stones.
