The Political Commission holds its regular meeting and reviews the most important developments in the political process

The auxiliary political body of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting today, Sunday, in the capital, Aden, under the chairmanship of Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, head of the body and head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, for the first half of December, to review the most important developments in the political process.
The Commission discussed the successful visit of the Chairman of the Political Body to Geneva, and the results of the fruitful meeting he held with the Director of the Office of the UN Envoy in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
The Commission listened to the reports of its representatives, where it praised, in a related context, the recent decisions issued by President Commander Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi on the service and political levels with regard to completing the structure of the Council, and the great popular satisfaction it received.
In its meeting, the Commission affirmed the position of the Southern Transitional Council and its commitment to the peace process, supporting the efforts of the brothers in the region in this regard, and the firm position in adhering to the rights of the aspirations of the people of the South, and moving towards restoring their state and achieving their complete independence.
The Authority expressed its condemnation of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi piracy acts targeting international shipping lanes, reaffirming the Council’s position and support for the true partnership with the international community and the Arab coalition in confronting terrorism and everything that threatens the security of the region and the world, and international navigation in particular.
p>In conclusion, the Commission renewed its solidarity and full support for the Palestinian people and their right to establish their independent state and live in peace on their land.
