The father of a child affected by commercial fraud demands the implementation of the decision to close a supermarket in Aden

The father of a child affected by commercial adulteration of expired infant formula, which caused her acute kidney failure, appealed for the implementation of the Public Prosecution’s decision to close the SBC Mall supermarket in Mansoura District.
The girl’s father said in a press statement today that the Public Prosecution’s decision issued today to close the supermarket aims to protect citizens from adulterated and expired products, but influential people close to senior leaders in the Ministry of Justice are obstructing it.
He added that these attempts aim to disrupt judicial procedures and distract from its efforts to preserve rights and preserve the dignity of citizens.
The Prosecution of Industry and Commerce in the capital, Aden, had repeatedly summoned the supermarket owner to appear before it based on a case of commercial fraud of infant formula products that had been caught selling to the consuming public.
According to investigations conducted by the prosecution, the prohibited products were sold to the child, causing her to suffer acute kidney failure.
