An American aircraft carrier heads to the Red Sea to respond to the Houthis

The "Politico" website confirmed that the Pentagon ordered the sending of the nuclear aircraft carrier "Dwight D. Eisenhower" to the Bab al-Mandab Strait, in response to attacks by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia against ships.
He explained that the US Department of Defense transferred an attack group led by the aircraft carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower from the Gulf to the Bab al-Mandab Strait in the Red Sea off the coast of Yemen, as a possible response to the attacks.
He pointed to the approval of American military commanders to strike the Houthi militia.
The Houthis are intensifying their strikes on civilian commercial ships in the open Red Sea, which has led to international shipping companies temporarily disrupting navigation traffic in it.
