Meteorology warns of extremely cold weather in these areas

The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning forecast cold to very cold weather in the governorates of (Dhamar, Amran, Al Bayda, Sana’a, Saada and the north of Al Dhalea and Ibb) with the possibility of frost forming in various parts of them.
The center indicated in its weather bulletin for the next twenty-four hours that the weather may be cold during the night and early morning in the high areas of the governorates of (Al-Jawf, Ma’rib, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadhramaut).
While the expected winds will be active to strong, with speeds ranging between (13-30) knots on the Socotra Archipelago, the eastern, southern and western coasts and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.
The center called on citizens in cold climates, especially the elderly, the sick, children, and those working during the late hours of the night and early morning, to take the necessary precautions against the extreme cold weather.
He warned farmers, poultry and beekeepers of the effects of the severe cold wave in order to protect them and their agricultural crops.
He warned seafarers and fishermen in the Socotra Archipelago, the eastern, southern and western coasts and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab of the turbulent sea and high waves.
The center indicated that the lowest temperatures recorded at some weather monitoring stations on Tuesday morning were: - Amran: -1.6, Dhamar: -0.5, Sanaa: 1.0, Al-Sadda-Ibb: 4.0, Sayun: 6.0, Ibb: 8.2, Al-Mahwit. : 8.2.
