The Security Committee in Lahj Governorate approves a security plan aimed at enhancing stability and combating crime

Today, Tuesday, the Security Committee in Lahj Governorate, headed by the governor of the governorate, Major General Ahmed al-Turki, discussed efforts aimed at strengthening security capabilities and achieving social stability and peace in the governorate.
The meeting approved the abolition of all armed manifestations in the governorate’s directorates, and that military vehicle crews should not drive in public streets except within the limits of official missions and through operational communications to that effect. It also approved the official numbering of motorcycles.
The Turkish governor stressed on the security services the necessity of developing a modern strategic security plan during the new year 2024, and activating the roles assigned to the areas of criminal investigation, investigating evidence, gathering information, monitoring, tracking and arresting perpetrators of crimes against society.
These decisions come within the framework of efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in Lahj Governorate, and combating crime.
