The Qalansiyah and Abdel-Kouri Transitional Executive Committee holds its regular meeting for the month of December

President Commander Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, affirmed the steadfastness of the Southern Transitional Council in its political position, which is to restore the full sovereignty of the southern state, which is a firm and permanent position, and it will not deviate or back down from it.
This came in his speech at the expanded meeting organized by the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, for the local leadership of the Council in the capital, Aden, its directorates, and the Council’s coordinators at the University of Aden and its colleges. In the framework of his speech, the Leader reviewed the latest political developments related to the political process, And the road map presented by the UN envoy, Mr. Hans Grundberg, in addition to the latest developments related to the escalation of the Houthi militia in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab, and the Gulf of Aden.
The Leader-President indicated in the context of his speech, during the meeting attended by members of the Council’s Presidency, Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi, Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, Major General Kamal Hamshari, Director of the Office of the President of the Council, and Moamen Al-Saqqaf, that the file of the issue of the people of the South politically has reached an advanced stage. At the regional and international levels, everyone has become fully convinced that no peace can be achieved or continued in this region of the world except by resolving the issue of the South in a fair manner and in a way that meets the aspirations of its people.
The Commander-in-Chief reiterated that the issue of the people of the South is the first pivotal issue in the upcoming political process, and a main basis for efforts to end the war and bring peace in Yemen and the region, noting that it would not have reached this advanced stage at the regional and global decision-making table, except thanks to God Almighty first, and the steadfastness of our people and their armed forces on the ground.
The Commander-in-Chief added, saying: “Our political position is a firm position and we will not deviate from it, and there will be no retreat from the goals of our people, and the option of restoring the state is our only option, either victory or martyrdom.”
The President and Commander addressed the attendees by saying: “Today we are going through a pivotal stage that requires us to intensify our efforts, assume our responsibility, and work in the spirit of one team among the masses and reassure them that our rights, our land and our dignity will be taken away, and our state and its capital, Aden, will be restored, whether long or short.”
p>Regarding the Houthi escalation and its threat to international maritime shipping lines, the Commander-in-Chief reiterated that our armed forces will be an active partner in any international effort or coalition to protect international shipping lines. Indeed, they are the first concerned with protecting this important region of the world, which represents national security. For our country, the region, and the entire world, it is a permanent and stable position, so there is no bargaining or bidding on it.
In the organizational matter, the Leader renewed his call to the local leadership of the Council, to intensify efforts during the next phase, and to cohesion, coordinate and integrate work with local authorities and community committees at the governorate or district level to overcome any difficulties or challenges.
The Commander-in-Chief also stressed the need to be open to all the people of the South with their various orientations and affiliations, and to stay away from everything that might divide the ranks and disperse the unity of the South, and to seek the help of all competencies and experiences, and to make room for youth and all creators, so that everyone can be partners in restoring the capital, Aden, to its role and leadership. In all fields, wishing everyone success in their upcoming national tasks.
