Ongoing work continues in Shabwa Governorate to implement the phases of the project to maintain the third section of the Ataq-Al-Abr Road, with follow-up by the Ministry of Public Works and Roads and financing and supervision of the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund, main center - the capital, Aden.

The project manager, Engineer Ahmed Mustafa Hamido, spoke about the progress of the implementation stages, including the continuation of the restoration and construction works on the road, while asphalting operations continue along the section. Pointing out that the project is continuing to maintain the international road on the way to completing the third section.

The Ataq Al-Abr line connects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is considered one of the most important international lines. It is self-funded by the Road Maintenance Fund, and rehabilitation work is underway to facilitate the movement of passengers and the movement of goods.
