Germany calls on Iran to stop Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea

The German government called on the political leadership in Iran to stop launching further attacks on shipping ships in the Red Sea by its arm in Yemen, the “Houthis,” according to what was reported by the German News Agency.
German government spokesman, Steffen Heibstreit, said in Berlin yesterday (Wednesday) that this matter has “dangerous effects on global trade, and has serious safety effects on these ships.” This is unacceptable.”
The German Foreign and Interior Ministries confirmed that the study of the possible participation of the German army in the security alliance formed by the United States to protect navigation in this region has not yet been completed.
It is noteworthy that after the Houthi militia attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea, the German shipping company Hapag-Lloyd and other major companies announced that they would avoid passage through the Suez Canal until further notice.
The “Prosperity Guardian Operation,” which Washington announced, aims to protect commercial ships from attacks by the terrorist Houthi militia, Iran’s arm in Yemen.
