The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor participates in the opening of the “Noor for People with Disabilities” initiative in Cairo

His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Zaouri, participated this morning, Thursday, December 21, 2023, in the opening of the “Noor for People with Disabilities” initiative, accompanied by the Egyptian Minister of Social Solidarity, President of the 43rd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, Mrs. Nevin Al-Qabbaj and the Minister of Social Development. And the family in the State of Qatar, the President of the 42nd session of the Council, Mrs. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, the Assistant Secretary-General, the Head of the Social Affairs Sector of the League of Arab States, Ambassador Dr. Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, the Minister Plenipotentiary, responsible for the Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, Mr. Tariq Al-Nabulsi, and the Ministers of Development and Social Affairs of the countries. His Excellency the Minister and his counterparts learned about the “Noor for People with Disabilities” initiative, which is implemented in cooperation between the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity, the League of Arab States, and the Dr. Nabil Fawzy Charitable Foundation, and a rehabilitation and integration center for children with disabilities through specialized rehabilitation and training programs aimed at maximizing their capabilities and enabling them to Independent living and easy integration into society. It targets cases of mental retardation, autism, those who lack the ability to move without a motor aid, cases of learning difficulties, and cases of emotional and emotional disorders resulting from problems in education. Training is conducted by specialized and qualified trainers, and training is also done to develop life skills. And the center also provides parents with all the information necessary to deal with their son’s condition.
