Al-Zubaidi directs the lifting of military collection points from the Lahj-Al-Bayda line and assigning the belt to assume security duties

Major General Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council and Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Command Council, directed the removal of all military points along the main road in the Lahj-Al-Bayda Governorate, starting from the Rabat point until the last point in the Al-Hadd Yafa’ area, and handing over the security tasks there to the forces. The security belt, to play its role in securing the governorate, protecting roads, and stopping any illegal levies.
This came during an inspection visit made by Al-Zubaidi today, Saturday, to Lahj Governorate, where he was received by the Governor of the Governorate, Major General Ahmed Abdullah Turki, Wadah Al-Halmi, the interim CEO of the Governorate, the directors of the executive offices of the Governorate, and a large gathering of security and military leaders, sheikhs and notables.
p>Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of raising the level of coordination between the security and military units through the joint operations room, and for the security units to carry out their role in protecting the citizen, preserving his rights, and preserving public tranquility.
Al-Zubaidi’s directives come within the framework of his ongoing efforts to enhance security and stability in Lahj Governorate and the south, raise the level of security performance of the southern forces, and ensure the protection of citizens and their interests.
