The Traffic Police Department in Al-Mahra Governorate carried out a massive traffic campaign to arrest violating cars in the city of Al-Ghaydah.
The director of the traffic police in the governorate, Colonel Salem Omar Al Kathiri, called on drivers to abide by the traffic laws so that they are not subject to detention and that strict measures are taken against them, indicating that the campaign came in implementation of the directives of the Director General of Security and Police, Brigadier General Mufti Suhail Samouda, to reduce the recurrence of traffic accidents and congestion resulting from random street violations. Al-Ghaydah city.
For his part, the Director of the Traffic Police in Al-Ghaydah District, Lieutenant Hussein Ahmed Al-Marani, explained that 25 traffic violations were detected and that the Traffic Police Department is seeking to develop a traffic plan in accordance with the plan for the year 2024 by numbering all cars, indicating that it will be strictly dealt with in taking legal measures for all violators.< /p>
Al-Marani called on the relevant authorities to pay attention to re-surveying the internal streets and closing the openings that were placed in the areas of floods that caused traffic jams.
