The government’s position on announcing a road map for the Yemeni crisis

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Yemeni government welcomed the statement issued by the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, regarding the efforts made to reach a road map under the auspices of the United Nations to end the war caused by the Houthi militia.
The Ministry reaffirmed its positive dealings with all initiatives aimed at resolving the crisis in Yemen by peaceful means in accordance with the three terms of reference, the Gulf Initiative and its executive mechanisms, the outcomes of the comprehensive National Dialogue Conference, and Security Council Resolution 2216, in a way that achieves the aspirations and hopes of the Yemeni people.
The Ministry thanks all the efforts made by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman to advance the settlement and resume the political process.
