Major General Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, Chairman of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, directed the Road and Bridge Maintenance Fund to receive weighing stations - locomotive scales - on the roads linking the capital, Aden, to the rest of the governorates.

This came during his meeting today, Sunday, with the Chairman of the Board of the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund - Aden Main Center, Engineer Moeen Al-Mas, where he was briefed on the progress of work in main and secondary road maintenance projects in a number of governorates and the overall difficulties facing the Fund’s management and ways to address them.< /p>

Al-Zubaidi stressed in the meeting the importance of the Road Maintenance Fund playing its role in managing weighing stations as the body responsible for road safety and maintenance, stressing the necessity of adopting main weighing stations and removing any unnecessary scales

Al-Zubaidi also directed the Fund’s management to expedite the maintenance work on main roads in a number of governorates, reiterating his support and support for the efforts made by the Fund’s management to rehabilitate and maintain roads.
