The simulator was installed and has international specifications, through the use of artificial intelligence to raise the quality of radiation therapy. And the installation of the latest version of the Halcyon linear accelerator device from the American company Varian Medical Devices has begun by the foreign team that will arrive in Mukalla next week, which will work and supervise the treatment phase.
The Halcyon linear accelerator device will treat most tumors in any part of the body, of any size and shape, and is characterized by movement, which is an important factor in implementing radiotherapy.

The center was established according to international standards of radiation safety that are compatible with the terms and regulations of the International Atomic Energy Agency and the National Atomic Energy Commission, including matters of design, shielding, and protection. The entire treatment phase passes with high quality standards in accuracy and implementation through strict quality control and monitoring tests.
