This Sunday morning, the concerned authorities in the city of Ataq carried out a removal campaign on a number of informal settlement sites and encroachments on the city’s service facilities.
The removal campaign, which was carried out under the supervision of the Public Works and Roads Office, the Land Authority, and the patrol police in the governorate, consisted of removing encroachments on the kindergarten site in Plan (213), in addition to the encroachments on Al-Arbaeen Street.
These measures came as a continuation of the directives of the leadership of the local authority, headed by Governor Muhammad bin Adiu, regarding providing the infrastructure components for the governorate’s center, the city of Ataq, and displaying it with the civilized appearance that befits it as a front for the governorate.
The responsible authorities stressed the continuation of the campaign to remove slums and encroachments on public interests in the city, and will not hesitate to take the necessary measures against those behind the encroachment on public interests and any attempts at random expansion, calling on everyone to further cooperate with the relevant authorities in order to remove those Uncivilized manifestations.
