Jordan welcomes the Yemeni parties reaching an agreement to support the peace process

The Jordanian government welcomed the announcement by the Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, that an agreement had been reached between the Yemeni parties to work on a road map to support the peace process.
The official spokesman for the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sufyan Al-Qudah, expressed Jordan’s hope to complete this agreement and sign it as soon as possible, leading to ending the crisis in Yemen, ensuring its unity, stability and territorial integrity, and meeting the ambitions and aspirations of the Yemeni people for security, peace and prosperity. He stressed that Jordan supports all efforts to end the Yemeni crisis.
Ambassador Al-Qudah praised the efforts made by the United Nations Special Envoy to Yemen, and the mediation efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman aimed at reaching a political solution that leads to a new phase of peace and stability in Yemen.
