The prosecution stresses the need to transfer prisoners sentenced by Aden security to the central prison and provide another prison for investigation

The North Aden Appeals Prosecution and the Aden Security Administration held, this morning, Tuesday morning, in the Public Prosecution Office in Aden, a consultative meeting to enhance aspects of joint cooperation between the two sides. This meeting comes as a translation of the directives of His Excellency the Attorney General, Judge Qaher Mustafa, in Circular No. (2) of 2023, issued On 1/11/2023 AD
Conducting periodic meetings between prosecutions and security departments to overcome difficulties, avoid negatives, improve the level of work, and coordinate between prosecutions and security agencies.
The meeting discussed a number of topics, including combating crime, ways to enhance work between the Aden Security Administration and the North Aden Appeals Prosecution, and the unified work mechanism to quickly implement procedures and address prison issues in police departments.
At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the North Aden Appeals Prosecution, Judge Yahya Nasser Al-Shuaibi, spoke about the importance of such meetings as a translation of the Attorney General’s directives to improve joint cooperation between the Public Prosecution and the security services. The outcomes of the first meeting held in the Aden Security Administration were reviewed and emphasized, and he emphasized The need to implement the outcomes of the previous meeting, namely the need to transfer those convicted of murder cases who are still on trial from the investigation prison and police stations to the central prison, as well as the need to search for another prison for criminal investigation, since the current prison is overcrowded with detainees. He stressed the need for continuous coordination between prosecutors and police department directors in order to Overcoming any difficulties, while adhering to the regulations and laws in completing citizens’ issues.
For his part, the Director of the Capital’s Security, Major General Mutahar Al-Shuaibi, stressed the strengthening and ongoing coordination between security and the Public Prosecution and the work at a high pace. He spoke about the mechanism of the security system that it is taking good and steady steps. He also pointed to the complete readiness of security supplies, cameras, and cars with personal effort to go.
In the meeting, prosecutors and directors of the condition and subtraction departments were briefed on the most important developments related to judicial procedures and others.
The consultative meeting came out with points, the most important of which were the continuation of these meetings, and the agreement to accommodate those convicted of pre-trial murder cases who are in the criminal investigation prison in the governorate and transfer them to the central prison.
