Discussing rainwater drainage projects and flood buffers in the mountainous strip and the electricity district in Al-Mualla

Professor Abdul Rahim Al-Jawi, Director General of Al-Mualla District, met in a library with Engineer Mohsen Alawi, Director of Public Works, and Engineer Zaki Al-Haddad, Deputy Director of the Water Corporation for Sanitation Affairs in Aden, and the mechanism of work for rainwater drainage projects and rain and flood buffers in mountain highland areas was discussed.
p>Al-Jawi listened to a detailed explanation of the project implementation mechanism through Engineer Mohsen Alawi, Director of the Aden-Abyan Public Works Project, explaining the progress plan for implementing the works and the water pipes that will be used.
Engineers Alawi and Al-Haddad confirmed that the work of the rainwater and floodwater drainage projects is progressing at a high pace. They also confirmed that they will urgently implement another project for rainwater and floodwater drainage during the coming period of the new year 2024, which will target the Al-Kabsa neighborhood located close to the port of Al-Mualla.
Al-Jawi praised the interventions of the Aden-Abyan Public Works Project in the areas of infrastructure in the district, including projects that have been implemented related to the rehabilitation of back lanes and projects under implementation, especially with flood buffers in the Al-Shu’la neighborhood area and the rainwater drainage project in the Al-Kahraba neighborhood.
The meeting was attended by Engineer Dhaheer Zakaria, sanitation official, Al-Mualla, and Abdel Nasser Imad, a member of the local council.
