The Supreme Judicial Council establishes a customs court of first instance in Aden

The Supreme Judicial Council approved the renaming of the Tax Court of First Instance in Aden Governorate to be the Tax and Customs Court of First Instance.
This came during the Council’s regular meeting, today, in the capital, Aden, headed by His Eminence Judge Mohsen Yahya Talib, President of the Council.
The Council approved the transfer of both Judge Ahmed Abdullah Maharaj to work as a member of the Mukalla Appeals Prosecution in Hadhramout Governorate, Judge Atiq Ahmed Hussein Saleh as Deputy Prosecutor of Saif Primary School M/ Hadhramout, and Judge Ahmed Ali Obaid Ali to work as a judge in the Jaar Court.
The Council also referred a number of judges to retirement upon their request.
The Council considered a number of grievances submitted by some judges and took appropriate decisions and treatments in accordance with the law.
The Council had discussed, approved and approved its previous minutes.
