Destruction of 19 tons of expired energy drinks seized in Nishtun port

The Office of Industry and Trade in Al-Mahra Governorate destroyed more than 19 tons of expired energy drinks, consisting of 3,283 cartons of seventy-nine thousand bottles of energy drinks, which were seized by Nishtun Port Customs.
The quantity was destroyed in the presence of the committee composed of customs, the Public Prosecution, Public Works, and the Central Agency for Control, Accounting and Legal Affairs.
Director of Consumer Protection at the Office of Industry and Trade in Al-Mahra, Shukri Al-Assad, said that the office is continuing its field campaigns, under the direct supervision of the Director General of Industry and Trade, Mr. Abdullah Khodem, and with direct support from the leadership of the local authority in the governorate, represented by Mr. Muhammad Ali Yasser, Governor of the governorate.
