The Standards Authority destroys 656 bags of spoiled black pepper in the port of Aden

The Standards, Metrology and Quality Control Authority announced, through its office in the free zone port in the capital, Aden, today, Thursday, the destruction of 656 bags of black pepper that violated the standard specifications due to the presence of mold in the product.
It revealed that 90 cartons of tombac paper that did not meet the specifications were rejected due to the appearance of mold in the product as a result of its exposure to moisture. It also rejected 300 cartons of compressed dates that did not meet the standard specifications during the expiration period.
