An official source in the Ministry of Finance confirmed that the Ministry has completed the process of disbursing state employee salary enhancements for the month of December 2023 by 99%, including displaced employees.

The source explained in a press statement that the Ministry has informed the Central Bank of Yemen of the December salary enhancements since December 18, and has completed, for its part, the disbursement of 99% of the December salaries, as the entities to which disbursement has been approved to date have reached 28, Thursday. December: 261 offices, including 78 central agencies out of 79, and reinforcements for the 10 liberated governorates were fully completed.
The same source stressed that the Ministry of Finance disavows its responsibility for delaying or obstructing the process of disbursing salaries in light of these difficult circumstances that state employees are experiencing.
