Al-Ghad Al-Mashreq Channel - on Wednesday - stopped its official satellite broadcasting after 8 years of media work.
The channel’s broadcast was completely cut off in the last hours of Wednesday evening.
The channel had liquidated all its media activities related to Yemen and laid off all its employees.
The channel began its official broadcast in 2016 and covered Yemeni affairs in all governorates.
The channel recorded a distinguished media presence and achieved a viewership rate that was among the five most watched channels in Yemen.
Al-Ghad Al-Mashreq channel was launched in April 2016 during the war between the Houthi group and the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and it played a role in the media confrontation against the Houthi group and the Brotherhood in Yemen.
