The Acting Executive Director General of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the capital, Aden, Nabil Ghanem Ahmed, today, Saturday, launched a campaign to remove waste from the road leading to the Buraiqa District.
At the inauguration, and in the presence of the heads of the Al-Barqa and Inmaa Cleaning Departments, Abdul-Jabbar Yousef, and the engineer Muhammad Jamal, Ghanem listened to an explanation from the Director of the Fund’s Monitoring and Evaluation Department, Khalil Moqbel, about the nature of the campaign’s work, which includes removing waste from the central island, as well as removing Dust from the sides of the island extending from the Umm Qasr security point in the Al-Haswah area all the way to the Buraiqa Bridge, indicating that the campaign was allocated shovels, (3) dumpers, and a scraper, in addition to (20) workers from the two departments.
During the launch of the campaign, Nabil Ghanem appreciated the efforts made by those working to implement this campaign to maintain cleanliness, calling on them to redouble their efforts in completing all the work entrusted to them.
The Acting Executive Director General of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in Aden, Nabil Ghanem, also inspected the progress of work in the garbage transfer office in the Al-Haswah area.
Ghanem was briefed by the Fund’s Solid Waste Treatment Department Director, Ihsan Mahboub, on the activity and daily work of the landfill, including removing the garbage and completely filtering it after collecting it from all the directorates of the capital, Aden, before transporting it to the main landfill in the Bir Al-Naama area, indicating that it is being Lifting hundreds of tons of waste on a daily basis.
Nabil Ghanem noted the keenness and interest of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the Capital, represented by the Minister of State - Governor of the Capital, Aden - Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, and the leadership of the Fund, represented by its Executive General Director, Engineer Qaid Rashid Anam, and all the Fund’s employees, for making a shift. Quality in the Fund's overall services, through removing garbage, waste, waste, and dust from the sidewalks, as well as working to expand the area of vegetation cover and sustaining it, to highlight the capital, Aden, with its aesthetic appearance and restore its splendor and civilized appearance.
