The National Center of Meteorology said that it expects rain of varying intensity to fall in separate areas of the governorates of Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Raymah, Dhamar, Al Mahwit, Hajjah, west of Dhamar, Amran and Saada, and parts of the Abyan and Shabwa highlands and west to the Tihama plain. .

The weather may be hot and dry during the day in the deserts and inland plateaus, with maximum temperatures ranging between 38-43 degrees Celsius, while it may be hot and humid in the coastal areas and the Socotra Archipelago, with temperatures ranging between 33-39 degrees.

It is possible that moderate to active winds will blow around the Socotra Archipelago and parts of the southern and eastern coasts, with speeds ranging between 12-30 knots.

The center warned citizens of thunderstorms, the flow of torrents in reefs and valleys, and the presence or crossing of torrent paths in areas where rain is expected.

He advised against direct and prolonged exposure to sunlight during the day in deserts, inland plateaus, coastal areas, and the Socotra Archipelago.

He called for taking the necessary precautions against high waves and sea turbulence around the Socotra Archipelago and the southern and eastern coasts.
