Denmark sends a ship to the Red Sea to deter Houthi threats

The Danish Ministry of Defense announced its intention to send a warship to the Red Sea to participate in a US-led mission, to deter threats from the Iranian-backed Houthi militia to commercial ships.
The shipping industry in Denmark decided to double the wages of crew members sailing through the Red Sea to compensate for any risks resulting from terrorist militia attacks and their targeting of maritime shipping lines.
The Danish shipping company "Maersk" announced the resumption of shipping through the region, after initially sailing a long distance south of Africa via the "Cape of Good Hope."
