The Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund Committee handed over the main center - the capital, Aden, today, as part of the start of work to implement the projects whose financing was signed in the past few days, two targeted maintenance and rehabilitation projects for a number of roads in the Yafa District, Lahj Governorate.

The committee carried out its visit to the work sites under the chairmanship of Engineer Nasser Hadi. They were received by Brigadier Pilot Abdel Fattah Al-Salahi, Director General of Labous District, and Mr. Hussein Ahmed Al-Jawhari, Director General of Al-Hidd District. Before handover procedures, they inspected the targeted roads to ensure their readiness to begin implementation.

After sitting with the engineers of the Public Corporation, the “executing agency,” in charge of the targeted projects, the committee signed the receipt report with the implementing agency to hand over the projects to begin implementing the work in the coming days.

The head of the committee, Eng. Nasser, explained the importance of starting the implementation of projects according to what was specified in the work agendas and adherence to international standards, noting the great interest that the leadership of the Ministry of Public Works and the Maintenance Fund pays to managing the project work and implementing it according to the signed agreements. .

The projects include projects to complete the construction of the Souq Al-Salam Road, the celebration platform in Labous, and the emergency intervention project to rehabilitate the Al-Ar Al-Mahjib Road, the Al-Habilain-Al-Hadd Road, which will be implemented by the General Organization for Roads and Bridges, Lahj Branch.
