Today, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Aidroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, honored the junior football team with 360,000 Saudi riyals, in recognition of its achievement in winning the 10th West Asian Cup championship.

Al-Zubaidi stressed, in his speech during the tribute, that the victory achieved for the team was the result of the effort, dedication and sacrifice made by these heroes in this tournament.

He stressed that joy spread across all segments of the Yemeni people over this second achievement for Yemeni football, despite the suffering the country is going through and its deteriorating economic situation.

Al-Zubaidi pointed out that sports have nothing to do with politics and that the team rejoices with the masses of the Yemeni people in every part of the country.

He expressed his happiness at the presence of the team in the city of Aden, praising the efforts of everyone who contributed to achieving this title, from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Yemeni Football Federation, and all the sports fans at home and abroad who were supporting the team in this tournament.
