The US Central Command announced today, Sunday, that Houthi boats attacked a commercial ship and US Navy helicopters in the south of the Red Sea.
The US Command explained that a Maersk container ship launched a second distress call after it was attacked by Houthi boats, and they opened fire on it and approached it, and members tried to Boarding it.
The American command indicated that American helicopters responded to the distress call and Houthi boats opened fire on them. The American helicopters responded by firing in self-defense and sank 3 boats and killed their crews in the south of the Red Sea.
