This is the second seizure of this type of strategic goods that are seized in shipping customs and whose import is prohibited according to the law, and they were hidden in a professional manner inside the boxes of welding machines.

The Director General of Shipping Customs, Mr. Thabet Awad, stated that these seizures are the result of the directives of the government, the Ministry of Finance, and the presidency of the Customs Authority, whether not to be lax about seizures or to the qualification and training that the Customs Authority provided to customs employees during the year 2023.
