The Ministry of Finance in the legitimate government announced a reduction in vehicle and car customs fees by 85%, as part of efforts aimed at relieving the burdens on citizens and supporting the national economy.

This came in a document issued by the Ministry, in which it explained that the decision includes all models, and will come into effect as of January 1, especially newer models.

A source explained that the decision comes within the framework of the legitimate government’s keenness to reduce the burdens on citizens, support the Yemeni economy, and stimulate investment in the transportation sector.

The source added that the decision will contribute to reducing vehicle prices in the local market, thus providing citizens with the opportunity to purchase vehicles at reasonable prices.
