UN report: About 60,000 Yemenis were displaced at least once in 2023

The United Nations International Organization for Migration announced the displacement of 59,500 Yemenis in 2023 AD, for reasons related to the ongoing conflict in the country and climate change.
The organization said in its weekly report on displacement cases, that “between January 1 and December 30, 2023 AD The displacement matrix of the International Organization for Migration tracked 9,928 families, representing (59,568 individuals), who were displaced at least once. They represent (72 individuals) who were subjected to displacement at least once.”
She indicated that 20 families were displaced during the period covered by the previous report, which covered the period from 17 to 23 December 2023, in governorates, and were added to the total cumulative displacement recorded since The beginning of the year 2023 AD.
