A successful kidney transplant within the therapeutic coordination program between the Yemeni Medical Mission in India and Aster Hospitals

The medical attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in India opened its new year 2024 AD, by conducting a successful kidney transplant operation within the discounted treatment coordination program with Aster Hospitals in the state of Kerala, India.
The medical advisor to the Yemeni Embassy in India, Dr. Anis Al-Afifi, explained that the operation was completed today, Tuesday, January 2, 2024, successfully, and that the patient is in good health.
Al-Afifi added that this operation is the second that takes place within the therapeutic coordination program between the Yemeni Medical Attache and Aster Hospitals, and that the attaché seeks to expand this program to include more Yemeni patients suffering from kidney failure.
Al-Afifi praised the efforts made by Aster Hospitals in providing distinguished medical services to Yemeni patients, and expressed his thanks and appreciation to the hospital’s medical and administrative staff.
