Today, an operation was carried out at the free zone port in the capital, Aden, to destroy a quantity of medicines that do not conform to specifications, in accordance with the legal procedures followed in such cases and by a decision from the free zone and environmental health.

The contents of the quantity included four containers of medicines that the Supreme Authority for Medicines and Medical Supplies refused to allow into the country due to their non-compliance with specifications. During the destruction process, in the presence of the relevant authorities and representatives of the competent authorities, the seizure and destruction records were matched in accordance with the applicable laws.
