The Director General of Aden International Airport, Mr. Abdul Raqeeb Al-Omari, blessed the decision issued by the Chairman of the Presidential Command Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, appointing the Commander-in-Chief of the Southern Resistance Brigades, Major General Shalal Ali Shaye, as Commander-in-Chief of the Anti-Terrorism Units.
He praised Al-Omari, with this decision, places the security man known for his competence and courage in his appropriate place, stressing that General Shalal Sha’i, and just as he secured Aden in its darkest circumstances, is capable of curbing the organizations that have been targeting the southerners since the invasion of their capital in the summer of July 1994.
And in In the same context, Al-Omari sent a telegram to Major General Shalal Shaye, in which he congratulated him on gaining the trust of the leadership, wishing him success in his duties, and praying to God to help him protect people and preserve them from the destructive scourge of terrorism that insults the true Islamic religion and its eminence.
