The death of journalist Ali Al-Saqqaf at the age of 63

The Southern Radio and Television Sector mourned today, Sunday, the late journalist Ali Abdullah Al-Saqqaf, one of the sector’s cadres who moved to his Lord at the age of 63, spending most of it in media work.
The deceased began his career in the media field on Radio Aden, decades ago, and he prepared and presented many radio programs, most notably the weekly program “Nadwa Radio” and the daily program “Frankly” until the radio was closed as a result of the 2015 aggression.
The late Al-Saqqaf joined Hona Aden Radio as a preparer and presenter of the “Watani” program, and he continued to present the program on the radio until he suddenly passed away on Saturday evening after a career full of giving, excellence, creativity, and humanity.
The sector said in a statement, “We lost one of the most prominent and distinguished southern media cadres who devoted themselves to serving the nation’s issues and triumphing over the concerns, problems, and suffering of citizens and its various issues, thus creating a unique model in the media defending citizens’ issues and rights, with all courage, thus achieving great successes in This field will remain engraved in the memory and ears of all citizens.”
