The President of the Federation of Housing Associations in Aden chairs an extraordinary meeting to discuss the work plan for the year 2024

Mr. Jabal Radfan, President of the General Federation of Housing Cooperative Societies, held an extraordinary meeting today in the capital, Aden, with the heads of governmental and private housing cooperative societies.
The meeting revolved around the action plan for 2024, entitled “2024, the Year of Achievement.” The Union’s plans and programs were reviewed and discussed to achieve aspirations and improve the services provided to citizens.
During the meeting, the focus was on the challenges facing cooperative societies, including the issue of changing the societies’ locations and the need for satisfactory solutions in cooperation with the Land Authority.
The phenomenon of spread and randomness in association plans was also addressed, and measures were taken to address it.
Radfan expressed his hope that the union and the association leaders would achieve their desired goals in the new year, and that they would contribute to solving citizens’ problems in the field of housing.
In the end, the meeting approved a number of decisions aimed at addressing the challenges presented, including the formation of committees to follow up on thorny issues with the relevant ministries, offices and bodies. This meeting reflects the Union’s commitment to enhancing the capabilities of cooperative societies and achieving sustainable development.
In turn, the heads of associations praised the role of the General Union, stressing that they stand by it with all the steps and decisions it takes in order to preserve and safeguard the rights of state employees and enable them to exercise their legitimate rights.
