Anti-narcotics officers in Al-Mahra Governorate were able to arrest a person named (M.B.) in one of the neighborhoods of the city of Al-Ghaydah. He is considered one of the largest promoters of prohibited substances, as he practices trade and promotion of narcotic substances among the governorate’s directorates in general.

The Director of the Narcotics Control Department, Captain Arif Al-Awbthani, stated that the arrest operation came after following up and monitoring the movements of the accused before he was caught red-handed and in possession of an amount of Shabu.

Captain Arif Askari praised the great efforts made by the control personnel in order to protect the governorate and the safety of its security, offering his sincere thanks to every member of the control personnel. He also thanked the local authority, headed by the governor of the governorate, Mr. Muhammad Ali Yasser, and the security leadership represented by Brigadier General Mufti Suhail.
