Shabwa Local Council appreciates UAE support to enhance security

Abd Rabbuh Hashla Nasser, Secretary-General of the Local Council in Shabwa Governorate, during his tour of the governorate police building, today, Tuesday, praised the support of our brothers in the United Arab Emirates, and the role of its humanitarian arms in reconstructing and equipping buildings for vital facilities.
He said that the generous support provided by the brothers in the Emirates reflects the depth of the strong and solid fraternal relations between the two countries, and contributes to enhancing security and stability in Shabwa Governorate, directed at raising the pace of performance and speeding up the completion of reconstruction work.
During his visit, he inspected the ongoing work in reconstructing the building, which was partially destroyed during the aggression of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia. He also reviewed the level of implementation of security tasks and the most prominent challenges facing the police units.
For his part, Brigadier General Fouad Al-Nasi, Director General of Shabwa Police, said that the reconstruction of the police building is one of the most important projects aimed at strengthening the capabilities of the security services in the governorate, stressing that the new building will provide a suitable work environment for police workers, and contribute In improving the services provided to citizens.
