The Specialized Criminal Court orders the death penalty for (6) defendants in two assassination and bombing cases

The Specialized Criminal Court in the capital, Aden, today, Wednesday, sentenced six defendants to death by punishment, retaliation, and punishment in two cases of terrorism and premeditated murder.
This came during two public sessions headed by Judge Yahya Muhammad Al-Saeedi and in the presence of the Prosecutor, Abdullah Lasur, and the Secretary of the Court, Afaf Ali Mohsen, for two cases No. (3) of the year 1442 AH and No. (47) of the year 1443 AH, in which both (Ahmed) were convicted. Muhammad Ali Saeed), (Omar Ahmed Omar Ali), (Mahmoud Muhammad Abdo Ahmed), (Nasr Muhammad Musleh Shamit), (Amin Ahmed Qasim Saeed), and (Abdullah Muhammad Abdul Rahman Al-Sufi) for the crimes of terrorist bombing, premeditated murder, and bomb explosion.
The Specialized Criminal Court acquitted the defendant, Mahfouz Awad Saleh, of what was attributed to him in the indictment, and the defendants in Case No. (47) also filed an appeal.
The Specialized Criminal Court continues its public hearings in many terrorism and drug cases, and during the recent period it has issued death sentences and convictions, as part of efforts to strengthen the role of the judiciary and the rule of law.
