The forces of the 2nd Shabwa Defense Brigade foiled, on Wednesday, at one of the entrances to the city of Ataq, a smuggling operation of a large quantity of narcotic pills and a quantity of agricultural pesticides on board a locomotive loaded with bags of sugar.

The forces of the Second Shabwa Defense Brigade were able to seize the quantity, which was tightly hidden among bags of sugar, amounting to 940,950 tablets of the type (Pregabalin 300 mg) and another quantity of agricultural pesticides. The seized items and the driver of the locomotive were seized to complete the procedures with him and refer him to Competent authorities.

It is noteworthy that the forces of the Second Brigade had recently thwarted many similar operations that were coming to the city of Ataq.
