His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Ali Yasser, Governor of Al-Mahra Governorate, met today, Monday, with the Committee of the General Authority for Land, Survey and Urban Planning, headed by Engineer Hisham Khalifa, Director General of Surveying at the Authority, and in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Mr. Salem Abdullah Nemer, and the Acting Undersecretary of the Governorate for Technical Affairs, Eng. Awad Ahmed Qwizan and the Director General of the Authority’s branch in the governorate, Engineer Ahmed Issa Raafit.
At the beginning of the meeting, the governor welcomed the visit, stressing its importance in reviewing the conditions of the authority’s branch and supporting the efforts of the local authority in strengthening the branch with the various capabilities and technical equipment required to enable it to carry out its tasks to the fullest extent.
The governor also emphasized providing all facilities and overcoming difficulties for the success of the committee’s tasks in a way that contributes to preserving state lands, protecting government reservations, organizing plans, and reducing random construction.
The meeting discussed the conditions of the Authority’s branch, its problems, its needs, and the difficulties it faces, as well as the urban plans approved by the local authority and the necessity of reviewing them and correcting errors, if any, in preparation for baptizing them in the presidency of the General Authority, in addition to providing the Authority’s office with surveying equipment, computers, etc., and qualifying the technical and administrative staff by holding courses. Training and other issues.
The committee includes the brothers: Engineer Hisham Khalifa, Engineer Ihab Issa, Director of Investment, Engineer Adel Muhammad, Director General of Planning, and Engineer Ali Obaid, Director General of Supervision and Inspection at the Authority.
