Bloomberg Agency: The European Union is studying the possibility of launching a naval operation

Bloomberg reported in a report on Thursday that the European Union is studying the possibility of launching a new naval operation in the Red Sea.
Bloomberg quoted responsible sources as saying: “The European Union will discuss this week the desire of its members to cover the costs of the operation and provide Its ships.”
The UN Security Council, in its last session on Wednesday, approved a resolution calling on the Houthis to stop their attacks in the Red Sea and not to violate international law.
The resolution was voted on by a majority of 11 votes, while four abstained. Members, including Russia and China, abstained from voting.
