Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, met today, Monday, in the capital, Aden, with Professor Muhammad Awad Gibran, Chairman of the National Authority in Britain.
In the meeting attended by Mr. Lutfi Shatara, Head of the Research and Decision Support Center of the Transitional Council, Major General Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Commission, was briefed on the Commission’s activities since its founding in 2007, by a number of southern leaders, in Sheffield, Britain, as a national supporter of the issue. Southern, clarifying the early support provided by the National Authority to the interior.
Major General Ben Brik stressed the necessity of continuing the southern national dialogue in its second phase, with all the southern components that were not able to engage in the first phase of the dialogue.
For his part, the head of the National Authority in Britain expressed his thanks to Major General Ben Brik for the good reception and warm-heartedness, praising the Transitional Council’s keenness on cohesion and southern alignment.
