Linda Thomas: 2,000 ships leave the Red Sea as a result of Houthi attacks

The US Ambassador to the United Nations confirmed that her country continues to defend commercial ships in the Red Sea, stressing that the attacks on the Iranian-backed Houthi militia in Yemen are consistent with international law.
Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield indicated that the attacks by the Iranian Houthi militia forced more than 2,000 ships to move away from the Red Sea, after being targeted by missiles and drones.
The US Army announced today, Saturday, that the Air Force had carried out new air strikes against the positions of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, revealing that the air strikes had destroyed radar devices used by the Houthis.
The United States of America announced the launch of new strikes on Houthi targets, through an attack on the ship "USS Carney" with Tomahawk land attack missiles.
