Cold weather on the highlands of the southern governorates and winds in Socotra
The Meteorological Center expected cold weather on the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramaut, and Al-Mahra governorates today, Saturday.
He warned of active to strong winds blowing on the western coasts, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and around the Socotra Archipelago, with speeds ranging from 15 to 28 knots.
He warned citizens, especially the elderly, children and patients in the mountainous areas and interior plateaus, of the cold weather, calling for care to heat homes using safe methods and to wear appropriate winter clothing to protect against the cold weather.
He called on farmers to pay attention to the extremely cold weather, take the necessary precautions, and follow agricultural instructions to protect their crops.
